Auckland, Monday. ’ Devaux was sworn Acting Governor. Lieutenant Commander Moore, of the Alacrity, was fined £2O for a breach of quarantine regulations. News from Solomon. Islands shows it was p.ot Wright who was killed, but a man named Townsend. A boy employed by him was also seriously speared.
