THE FEATHERSTON RAILWAY.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES, Sir, — I perceive in your paper of Tuesday, the 6th of August, that the whole credit due to the laying of the centre rail is placed as due to Mr. Reeves, But I beg to state that quite as much praise is due to others employed on the line as to him, the first centre rail being laid by Mr. Joe Crisp, under the superintendence of the inspector, Mr. Brooks, who has superintended all the works.—l am, &c., W. M. Featherston, August 8.
