Corporation Notices CITY COUNCILGENERAL rate; NOTICE is hereby given, that, the City Council has made'a rate' of sixpence in the pound on the value of all rateable property within the City, for the half-year, begun on' the Ist day .of October, 1876, and ending'on the 31st day of March, 1877 And the -said rate is now due, and will be payable at the Town Clerk’s Office on and after the 24th day of December next. A statement of, the said rate is open at the above office to the inspection of any person interested or rated in the same ; and notice is hereby further given that if any person thinks hiinself aggrieved on the ground of unfairness or incorrectness in the valuation or in the amount assessed thereon, he may at any time, WITHIN ONE MONTH FROM THIS DATE, appeal to the Resident Magistrate’s Court, provided he give seven days’ notice of such appeal to the Council.
