Sapphire was employed, for the first-time in this port, yesterday in running between that vessel and the shore. It is,a neat little craft, driven by two engines, very highly and well finished, and by an admirable arrangement the waste steam from the cylinders is condensed in - stead of being let up the chimney, and thus all that popping and soot flying is done away with. The engines work very smoothly, not the slightest noue been discernible when they are in motion.
