Proclamation, Bx His Honor William Fitzlierberfc Esquire, C. M.G-., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand. F WILLIAM FIT£HEEBERT, SuperL intendeut ofthe Provinceof Wellington, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Clause 11., of the Additional Land Regulations of the 15th day of February, 1855, do hereby proclaim and notify that the block of laud situate in the Wairarapa District, and comprised within the following boundaries viz: bounded towards the North-east and East by the Tauherenikau River; towards the South by the Southern boundaries of sections Nos. 3SO, 383,452, 453, 507, 50S and 509, Township of Featherstou by the Northern shore of the Wairarpa Lake, by th Pigeon Bush Creek and by the Southern boundaries of section Nos. 350,351, 462,463, and 510; towards the West by the Western boundaries of sections Nos. 383, 485, 486, 508, 509, and 513, Township of Eeatherston, and by sections Nos. 21 and 25, Pakuratahi District; and towards the North-west by a line bearing 22° magnetic, from the Eastern course of section No. 24. Pakuratahi District, -where the North-east boundary of the said section impringes on the Kemutaka Hill road to the Tauherinikue River, and which said boundaries are particularly delineated in the plan in the margin hereof, shall from and after this date be reserved as the site of a Township to be called " Featherston." Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four. J AT a sitting of the Native Land Court, held at Otaki, in the said district, on the 24th day of November, 1874, before Thomas Henry Smith, Esq., Judge, and Poari Kurainate, Assessor, in the matter of the claim of Tiemi Banapiri (James Ransfield), and the Order in Council ordering the re-hearing of the same, it was ordered that a memorial of ownership of James Eansfield, Bobert Bansfield, Matthew Eansfield, Thomas Eansfield, Mary Eansfield, and Ann Eansfield Beran (half-castes), of a parcel of land at Otaki, in the district aforesaid, containing three (3) acres and eighteen (18). perches, and known by the' name of Tutangatakino No. 4, be inscribed on a separate folium of the Court rolls.
