LONDON WOOL MAEKET. ' Messrs. Jacornb, Son, and Co. report under date October 28th, 1874 : " Since the closing of the public sales on the Ist inst. there has been but little business done in colonial wool in this market. The home woollen districts are doing fairly well, but accounts from the Continent are very quiet, and tho3o from America hardly support the revival of trade which had commenced. European trado generally does not yet exhibit the animation which might have been expected after late abundant harvests, but it is to be hoped that now before very long an improved state of trade in both Europe and America will assist us to grapple with the increased production of colonial wool, which late advices lead us to expect. ■ About 18,000 bales South America will be offered at Antwerp on the 4th proximo. Old stocks in London are now in very small compass; sales fixed to commence on 17th November will comprise the residue of the Australasian clip, about 40,000 bales, and 40,000 to 45,000 Cape.
