Any person desirous of Nominating a Candidate must, before four o'clock in the •***<*•- noon of Wednesday, the 9th day of Deet instant, deliver at the office of the Town Clerk, addressed "To the Returning Officer," a nomination paper in the prescribed form, which must be signed by not less than thrrpersons duly qualified to vote at such electioi and also by the person named therein as a candidate, in token of his assent to being so named.
