The following entries for these races, which are to come off on the Tauherenikau racecourse on the 10th and 11th instant, were made on Tuesday last, at Hainmeiich’s Hotel, at Greytown : MAIDEN PLATE. On Monday Mr. Lucas disposed by publicauction of the several privileges in connection with the races as follows :—One booth, to Mr. Faber, for £9 10s. ; two others, after being withdrawn, were sold privately to Mr. William TJdy for £lB. Mr, Cave was the purchaser of the gates and cards at £66 and £6 10s. respectively ; and Mr. T. Knight of the horse yards for £6.
