The Customs duties received at this port for the ■week ending December 3, were as under:— £ a. d. '4514 10 £1929 18 1 The trade of the past week, owing to holidays and races, leaves room for little remark. In imports we note no variation in prices; most descriptions of goods continue in full supply, and the recent arrival of the Howrah and Soukar from London will tend to increase stocks and prevent any great improvement in prices. In colonial produce the southern holders have advanced the price of flour 20s. per ton, and we now quote Oamaru and Canterbury flour, in sacks, at £l4 to £l4 ss. per ton. Bacon and hams scarce, prime cored being worth 12d. to 16d. per lb. Oats, Os. 3d. to 6s. [6d.; light stocks. Butter, in kegs, dull; no inquiries for export at lOd. Fotatoes.—None in the market, worth £8 per ton. BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND, Friday. Mr. Alexander Saunders reports: Sales: Bank of New Zealand, 3605. Buyers: City of London, 205,; Queen May, 6s. Cd.; Bismarck, 7s. 6d.; Tokatea, 9s. (kl. Sellers—South British, 505.; Bright Smile, 505.; Caledonian, 100 s. DUNEDIN, Friday. Brown and Sons quote grain of all sorts firmer. *Wheat, good to prime, ss. to ss. Cd. : oats scarce, and wanted, ss. 6d. to Os.; barley, 4s. 6d. to ss. 3d.; flour has advanced from £l3 to £l3 10s. ; pollard, £olos ; bran, £5 10s. The following is the market report:—Side and rolled bacon. Is. per lb.: colonial hams. Is. 2d. to Is. 3d. ; English, Is. 4d. to Is. 6d.; eggs in good demand, and scarce, at Is. 6d.
