Mr. Duncan held yesterday a public sale of bottled a 7 e and porter with other goods, when over £9OO worth of various brands wore sold, as follows: Jeffrey's ale, 10s. Id.; in stone bottles, 11s.; Arrol ale, inferior, 8s ; Tennent’s ale, Us.; Blood’s stout, 9s. 2d., tliis sample, although just landed, appeared not to bo in favor; Salt's ale, 10s. fid. Woolsacks, 10}lb. and lOJlb,, at 3s. od. The market for all the above articles is supplied far beyond our present requirements, BY TELEGRAPH. McLean Brothers report:—Prime beef at 40s. to 455,; medium and inferior at 30s. to 365. per lOOlbs.; prime cross-bred mutton, 4}d. to Sd.; merino, 4d, Grain quotations remain unaltered; oats continue very scarce at 6s. 6d.
