THE HUTT AND MISS GODDARD’S CONCERT.
TO TIIK EDITOR, Sin,—Allow me to apologise for taking up so much room in your valuable columns, but I believe the subject of my letter interests many of the Hutt residents. I wish to know why there should not bo a late train to the ffutt on Tuesday, the night of Madame Goddard’s concert ? During the late opera season, trains ran twice a week, and the Hutt people patronised them liberally, ami were grateful for them ; and why should they now ho debarred from the pleasure of hearing the world-renowned pianiste? If a train were put on on Tuesday, I am sure it would bo liberally patronised, for it is well known that on train nights, Hutt people mustered strong at the opera, and how much more would they for Arabella Goddard.—l am, Ac., A Lover or Music.
