THE IMMIGRANTS BY THE DOUGLAS.

Wood—cabinetmaker, 1 ; -carpenters, 1G ; millwright, 1 ; sawyers, 2 ; wheelwright, 1. Iron, &c, — blacksmiths, 6 ; fitter, 1 ; general smiths,. 4. Brick and Stone—bricklayers, 2 ; brickmaker, 1 ; mason, 1 ; plasterers, 2. Leather—shoemakers, 3. Miscellaneous—l baker, 1 coachpainter, 1 engine-cleaner, 3 painters, 1 platelayer, 1 schoolmaster, 1 stationmaster, 1 tailor. The female adults consist of 3 cooks, 4 dairymaids, 29 general servants, 2 housekeepers, 4 housemaids, 3 laundresses, 3 nurses, 1 parlormaid, 1 rag-sorter. , The adult laborers of both sexes number 200, the rest of the immigrants consisting of their families.
