Public Notices. £30,000 SIX PER CENT. DEBENTURES ' WANGANUI BOROUGH CORPORATION. Issued under Act of General Assembly, dated 21st October, 1872. THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA has been instructed by the Wanganui Borough Corporation to invite tenders for the whole or any portion of debentures, representing :ent., payable half-yearly, nt.nrfis will be payable in twenty dated Ist November, 1874. They will be for (£100) one hundred pounds each, and the coupons attached for each halfyear's interest will be made payable free of exchange at any office of the Bank of Australasia in New Zealand. A minimum price will be fixed before the tenders are opened. Tenders in accordance with the annexed form will be received by the Bank of Australasia at Wanganui, up to NOON of the 31st day of OCTOBER, 1874, and must be ad- I dressed " Tender for Wanganui Borough Cor- I poration Loan." Payment will be required as follows : Five per cent., on amount applied for, to accompany tender, fifty per cent., on amount allotted, on or before the 15th day of November, 1874 ; fifty per cent, on amount allotted on or before the 15th day of December, 1874. The amount of deposit will be applied towards the payment due loth November, 1874. The debentures will bear interest from the Ist November, 1874.
