And that every proprietor who is possessed of three hundred shares at the least in the capital of the said Bank, and shall become a candidate for the office of Director, must give uotice thereof to the Board of Directors, in writing, to be left at the offices of the said Bank, in High Street, Dunedin, aforesaid, thirty days at least before the day of election. And that every person appointed to act as proxy must he a proprietor of the said Bank ; and every proxy must be in writing, under the hand of the proprietor of the shares in respect of which such proxy shall be given, and delivered to the Secretary of the said Bank at least twenty-four hours before the time appointed for the said meeting.'
