Bennett and Co. are the contractors, and formally handed over the building to the Government thirteen days before contract time. Napier, Friday. The English Opera Company achieved a great success in “ Faust,” which was repeated last night to an immense house. -• They leave for Wellington after a most successful season. Grbytown, Friday. The committee of the Pastoral Association decided yesterday to hold the annual exhibition in December on the Tauherinikau racecourse. Horticultural exhibits are to be added this year. .
