Mr. Alexander Saunders reports : —Sales : Royal Oak, 6s. .Buyers : National Bank, OSs.; Bank of New Zealand, 3505. Sellers ; South British, 535.; Cure, 10s. Gd.; Bank of New Zealand, 3555.; Caledonian, 102 s, Gd. Mr. Buckland reports:—Fat sheep, 030 sold at higher rates ; dairy cows, £5 to £9 10s. ; calves, 255. to 425. ; fat cattle, 355. to 455. ; sheep, sd. per lb. ; ewes and lambs, 245. Gd. ; couple store wethers, 10s. Gd. Mr. G. W. Binney reports Breadstuffs improving. Flour. £l3 10s. to £l4 ; oats, ss. 3d. to Gs. 3d. ; barley, ss. Gd.; wheat, Gs. toGs. 3d ; butter, very scarce, Is. 3d.; cheese, Sd. to Is. 2d ; hams and bacon, lOd. to lid. ; hams. Is. Id. to Is. 2d. ; potatoes, £9 ; oatmeal, £25 ; pearl barley, £2G. NAPIER. September 11. Mr. R. Miller sold yesterday 203 head of cattle. There was a good attendance of buyers, and the amount realised was £1734.
