[Press Telegram Agency.] Dunedin, Friday. Caroline Gutchlan, who was injured by a tent taking fire at Otakia, has died in the hospital. A fatal accident occurred this morning at the Deborah Bay tunnel works. _ By an explosion of dynamite which was being dried at a blacksmith’s fire, James Renshaw was killed, and John Lewis and Alexander Simpson were injured. Napier, Friday.

The steamer Southern Cross arrived from Auckland to-day with the English Opera Troupe. They will appear this evening in “ The Rose of Castile.”
