In a sale of this class, where there is none of the fiction or fictitious reductions so commonly alluded to in advertising, but where the object, is to realise on the balance of an Assigned Estate, it is impossible to go into detail of the various items to be offered, suffice it to say that the whole Stock has been reduced in prise to the extent of from 17J per cent, to one-third under the usual rates ruling in Wellington. A large stock of fashionable Dress Materials at one-third reduction on former prices , Wet Wove Calicoes from is. 6d. per dozen Wincey Skirts at from 6s. lid. ; Fancy Skirts from 3s. lid. Twilled Sheetings, two yards wide, Is. 6Jd. 1000 Ladies' and Girls' Untrimmed Hats at 6d. each A large lot of Trimmed Hats from 2s. lid. Scotch Cambric Handkerchiefs, six for Is., and six for 2s. 6d Country settlers, storekeepers, and hotelkeepers, will find it to their advantage to make an early call. Also, a large stock of Men's, Women's, and Children's Wool Hosiery American Clouds, Miniver Sets Wool Boots and Bootes, Crossovers Wool Shawls, Knitted Jackets, Furs Boas, Collarettes, Children's Wool Jackets, &c, &c, at about one-third lower than usual price.
