[Press Telegraph Agency.] Christchurch, Saturday. The Catholics of Christchurch presented a handsome testimonial to Father Ecuyer last night, on the occasion of his removal from Canterbury. Smith's Combination Troupe gave a performance last night for the benefit of the widow and orphans of the late Captain Hart of the steamer Beautiful Star. The house was densely crowded. The barque Joliba is advertised for sale by C. C. Aikman on Monday next. Ltttelton, Friday. The ship Wennington, which has cleared for London, takes 2828 sacks wheat, 1092 sacks flour, 640 bales wool, 25 tons tallow, 7 tons bones, 903 cases meats, and gold to the value of £31,817.
