Thompson is shortly expected to arrive in Wellington, from Liverpool, and Tenderers will be required to state a lump sum per pipe for Landing, Storing, on the Breastwork or elsewhere, and Freighting to Hokitika. Notice is hereby given that 47,000 acres, more or less, of Crown Lands, divided into Suburban and Rural Sections; situated in the PARAE-KARETU BLOCK, West Coast, and* distant ten miles from the township of Marton, Upper Rangitikei, will be sold by public auction, at this office, on or about Ist September. The Parao-Karetu Block, hereafter to be called, "The Township of Hunter," is easily accessible both from Wanganui and Rangitikei. Part of the land is covered with open bush, while that in the Pourewa Yalley and also on the Turakina side consists of level country. Further information will be given in future advertisements. JOS.
