The amount of revenue collected at the Customs for the week ending 18th July was £2IOO 13s. AUCKLAND. In its weekly report on Monday last the Southern Cross says:—"Business continues good, and the clearances represent a fair average. The breadstuffs and grain market is quiet. Further sales of Adelaide flour ex Oberlin are reported at £l7 per ton nett, for Dunn's town brand, at which the whole of that brand has been cleared. Hart’s town brand is nearly all placed, the balance being held for £l7 nett, and Beaumont’s country brand at £l7, on terms. It is understood that this shipment was delivered at a very low freight, which has enabled consignees to offer the cargo at the moderates mentioned, rates which are proportionately below the prices that have ruled in Australia, We do not hear of any other expected arrivals from South Australia. The Hadda, from Dunedin, brought considerable additions to stocks of Southern flour, wheat, oats, &c. The demand is rather slack. We quote Southern flour at £l3 10s. to £l4 ; wheat, Cs. 3d, to Cs. 4d.; oats. ss. 3d.; barley, Cs. Maize is rather firmer, and Is now held for Cs. 3d. to Os. Gd.
