DEATH.

Kingi Wiremtj, Chief of the Rarawa, at Ahipara, Mangonui District, on the 20th of May last. He was amongst the first Assessors appointed in that district 27 years ago, and he has always been a faithful and zealous supporter of the law. He was a brother of Hare Nepia To Morenga, and a man of considerable influence.
