Abel— On Juno 12, Elizabeth, wife of Mr. Francis Abel, aged thirty-seven years. Allen. —On June 10, at Motueka, Mr. B, S. Alien, aged seventy-six years. The deceased had boon a settler in Nelson Province for the lust thirty years.* Andrews. —On June 9, Emily Andrews, aged nineteen years. Much regretted. Melbourne papers please copy. Bamford.— On June 15, at his residence, Ferry Hoad, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand, Mr. John Dean Bam ford, solicitor, aged 67 years. Coffey.— On June 20, Paul Edmund, infant son of Mr. Paul Coffey, aged five weeks. Collins.— On the 30th of Juno, Margaret Collins, aged seventy-five years, the wife of the late John Power Collins, and mother of 11. P. Collins, Albion Hotel. Finnkr— On May 29, at Leigh Cottage, Sandridgo Eoad, Melbourne, Joshua Finncr, late of Montpellier, Bristol, England, aged forty-three, late Manager of Polynesia Company. Fiven—On Juno 11, Arthur Henry Fiven, Mail Contractor, late of Nelson ; drowned whilst in tho performance of his duty, aged thirty-four. Gray. —On June 15, at Aberdeen House, Foxton, Isabella Clara, beloved infant daughter of Alexander Gray, aged two years and eight months. Gillard. —On the 28th June, at Ids late residence, Herbert Street, "Wellington, Joseph Henry Gillard, aged fifty years. Henderson. —On Juno 20, "William Peter, only sou of Mr. Jamas Henderson, aged five months. Ho well— On May 25, at Ids temporary residence, 115, Kent Street North, Sydney, (to which place ho had lately come for tho bonetlt of his health). Captain John Howell, aged sixty-three years, for over forty years resident at llivcrton, Jacob's liiver, south end of Middle Island, New Zealand, and brother to Captain AVilliam Stevens, of tho same place, leaving a wife ami thirteen children to mourn their loss. LATaiiroßi).— On the 9th February, 1874, accidentally lost overboard on tho voyage from "Wellington to London, in lat. 49 deg. 00 min. South, long. 48 deg. 00 min. West, at 11.6 p.m., Mr. Benjamin Lawrence Latchford, second officer of tho ship Eloctra. Deeply regretted. Mclver. On Juno 8, at Parksldo Street, Brunswick, Victoria, after a protracted illness, Catherine Ann Chums, the beloved wife of Evandcr Mclvcr. Mirfin.— On February 21, at her late residence. Quarry Hill, Oulton. near Leeds, Yorkshire, Hannah, relict of tho late William Mirfin, and mother of Mr. W. C. Mirfin, of Nelson, aged eighty-two years. Nalder. —On the 25th of June, at his residence, Hardy Street, Nelson, Charles Nalder, aged fiftyBOTen years.

White.—On June 1, at Blenheim, Alice Rose, the beloved wife of William White, manager of the National Bank of New Zealand, Blenheim, aged twentytwo. Yaxes.—On Monday morning, June 22,1574, at York House, The Terrace, Wellington, John Waller Vanes, son of the Rev. John Vanes, Woolwich, England. Wright.—On the 2Sth of June, Laura Louisa Evelyn, the third daughter of Sydney Evelyn Wright, aged eleven years. Canterbury and English papers please copy.
