The amount of revenue collected at the port of Wellington on goods entered for home consumption for the week ending June 20, amounted to £1103155. Sd. MELBOURNE MARKETS. The following is the market report given by the Melbourne Aryxut of the oth instant: — In the import market, business to-day has been without animation: and, as things look, there is little prospect of improvement. Breadstuff's move off very slowly indeed, the few sales effected being confined to supplying actual requirements. Bakers’ lots of flour are quitted at £U 15s. to £l4 17s. Od., bags included. For parcels £l4 ss, is wanted; but there is no business to report. Wheat maintains a steady quotation of Os. Od, to Gs. Sd. for good to best samples; but owing to the paucity of supplies, there arc no sales being effected. For oats wc report a fair inquiry, which is likely to lead to business in feeding descriptions, several sales being now pending at ss. 4d. to ss. sd. Maize is gradually getting easier. A line of 400 bags was disposed of at ss. ‘2d. The only noticeable feature was the auction sale of sugar in the forenoon; but even that was a comparative failure; 8510 bags and pockets Mauritius, comprising the Naworth Castle’s shipment, were submitted to competition ; but only a few lots of yellow brewing were disposed of, at 345. to 345. Od., the balance being withdrawn for improved rates. We observe that some 3000 bags of Bourbon sugars will be offered to-morrow. Small sales of teas in boxes arc mentioned at Is. for low ordinary. In liquids, further sales of 10 per cent. o.p. rum come under our notice at 4s. l£d. We observe that holders of cld brandy are beginning to look to England as the best market for such descriptions. We noticed on Saturday that a shipment of 100 hhds, was being made to London of Martcll’s 1800 ; wc now learn that no less than 170 hhds. arc to be shipped away under instructions from home. A largely attended meeting of the creditors of Messrs, McCallura, Neill and Co. was held this afternoon. The statement submitted showed liabilities—-i-v J. f. .! Ci O
