THE OPERA.

Last night " The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein" was repeated, and with the mo. ; ,t perfect success. Miss May's acting was fascinating, arch, and natural, and her success was not little. We have nothing to add, however, to remarks we made yesterday when noticing the production of this opera, as regards the efforts of the principal performers. We must not omit now to say, however, that the members of the ballet, though not numerous, have been well-selected, and that their performances in the dances incidental to the opera are very gracefully and pleasingly performed. This will be a grand fashionable night, and we observe that " MABITANA," always an attractive opera, will he repeated at the request of a large number of subscribers for the season.
