TENDERS will be received at this office until NOON on Monday, Ist dune, 1874, for the ERECTION of the GREY GORGE BRIDGE on the above-mentioned line of railway. They must be addressed to the lion the Minister for Public Works, Wellington, and marked outside “ Tender for Grey Gorge Bridge.” Plans and specifications may be seen at this office, and at the Public Works Offices at Greyxnouth and Nelson. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any telegraph office by NOON of the same date, provided that written tenders in due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer’s office by tbe same hour. AT OTTCB is hereby given that the following Crown Lauds are Open for Selection at the upset price, viz ; Slßl Acres, consisting of Town, Suburban, ami Rural Sections, in the Townships of I’o.vtou, Fitzlicx-bcrt, Carnarvon, and Palmerston, Manawatu district. 1350 Acres in the Wnikupu Reserve, loft bank Wanganui River. POO Acres of valuable Agricultural Land, in the Rangitumau Block, Wairarapa. 10,000 Acres of Pastoral Land, in the Whareama and Pahaua Blocks, Fast Coast.
