On Thursday afternoon, the mortal remains of A C. M’Donald, Esq., Manager of the Union Bank were consigned to their last resting place in the public Cemetery. The funeral left the Union Bank aboiit half-past thfee o’clock, and owing to tho high respect in which the deceased was held, it was attended by upwards of two hundred persons including all the principal inhabitants of Wellington, who' were desirous of paying this last tribute to his memory. A prayer was offered up tho grave by tho Rev. J. Moir, after which the assembly of mourners left tho Cemetery.
