Died. — At Wanganui, on the 14th Sept., aged 35, Te Kuru Kanga, son of Te Ranga Waka Rurua, chief of the Ngatitia Poto tribe. The deceased was a very intelligent man, and of great influence among the natives; his death is much regretted by the settlers, to whom he was always a firm and zealous friend.
