The Levin Dairy Company decided on Monday evening to iustal a cheese plant in its Kerevu creamery. Westralia is rapidly developing its agricultural resources. Last month a shipment of 600 carcases of frozen lambs was made from Fremantle, and this was the first of several others which will bo made before the end of the year. About 5000 to 7500 carcases are expected to be exported this season. There is said to be a great scarcity of prime beef in the Argentine, and to bring the quality Lack to its proper standard for shipping the works would have to bo shut down for a . twelvemonth. In shipping immature beef they are using up their capital. First it was four-year-old cattle, then three, and now two-year-old stock are being slaughtered.
