The price realised for forty-two bales of first half-bred greasy wool, the property of Mr William Saunders, Hawke a Bay, per pound, is said to be the record prioe for New Zealand greasy wool, and was the top price at the sale in question. At the same time fortythree bales of the clip realised 17d, and the fleece portion averaged ~l6§d per pound.
