BURNING VESSEL STEAMS FULL
SPEED FOR DOCK
NEW YORK, April 8. The steamer City of Troy, with sixty Sassengers on board, took fire on the [udson river. In a very short time the vessel was enveloped in flames, and the captain, ordering “ Fxill speed ahead,” rushed her into Edwin Bould s private dock at Dibbs’s Ferry. • All the passengers were landed in safety.
