PALMERSTON WINTER SHOW

As some misconception may exist as to the dates on which entries for the winter show of the Manawatu A. and P. Association close, it may be well to point out that the only entries received this week were for factory butter and cheese, which closed on Tuesday. This early date of closing was necessary owing to the conditions in these classes stipulating that the butter and cheese must bo stored under the association’s control from 12th inst. to the date of the show. The time for making entries of riiachinery, etc., ends on the 20th inst., and the entries in agricultural, horticultural, school and home industries, live stock, champion utility poultry show and other classes, close on June 4th, a fortnight prior to the opening of the show.
