ANNUAL SALE OF SUFFOLK STALLIONS.

Pitt, Son and Badgery, Ltd., conducted the annual sale of Mr A. A. Dangar’s Suffolk stallions at Fennelly’a Bazaar, Pitt street, Sydney, on Aug. 8, when nine beautiful horses wore submitted. They were a singularly uniform lot. three yearn old with one exception, and in splendid condition—by imported and Hangar bred sires. On close examination it was Tally admitted by competent judges that Mr Dangar’s extensive stud, and care, as well as judicious importation of sires, bars enabled him to produce horses as good as there are to be found anywhere in the world. There was a good attendance of buyers at the sale from all the States of the Commonwealth. As usual, there wag no reserve, and every horse brought out was sold to the highest bidder under brisk competition, and at the conclusion of the sale buyers and seller were equally satisfied with their purchase and sales. The highest price was 300 guineas, and the average all round shows an improvement as compared with the average of recent years. In 1903, 9 head averaged £149 18s 4d. In 1904 12 head averaged £192 10s. La 1905 12 head averaged £l9B 3s 9d, and this year nine head averaged £221 Is Bd. The following are the particulars of the Bale : Lot I—Alarcus. to R. J.
