Tlio Wellington Industrial Association last night decided to express regret at the resignation of Mr Robert Allan from the position of Commissioner of the International Exhibition at Christchurch. Mr H. Seaton, who moved the resolution, said Mi - Allan was a prominent member of the Canterbury Industrial Association. Tbo chairman, Mr R. E. Bannister, seconded the motion. He said Mr Allan had done yeoman work in connection with the Exhibition. He had hopes that the official would be reinstated as a Commissioner.
