The export of gold for the month of July was 62,8070 z, valued at £254,011, as against 42,9550 z, valued at £172,896, in July, 1905. Auckland exported 29.0770 z, Dunedin 16,2050 z, Greymouth 16.1740 z, Westport 10520 z, and Nelson 2990 z. The export for the seven months of the year shows an increase of 34,3560 z, valued at £140,226, over that of the same period of last year. During last month 103,6890 zof silver, valued at £10,508, was exported from Auckland.
