The difference! When the war broke out betweeu Russia and Japan, the former nation, -which was represented at the St. Louis Exposition by half a dozen deputies, at once recalled them to Russia. Japan was represented at the Exposition by about three hundred officials, commissioned to advertise Japan and acquire information for her betterment. These remained until the close of the fair, and maintained probably the best representation given by any outside nation.
