The question whether drapers or any other tradespeople have any right to break one of the city by-laws by erecting sun-blinds between verandah-posts will be decided by the Stipendiary Magistrate on Friday next. The by-law was framed to prevent persons erecting any obstruction that will shut out sunshine fiom citizens using the footpath.
