A formal inquiry is to be held by the Wellington Education Board into the destruction by fire of the school at HTukanui. The cause of the fire is sot down to a defect in the chimney. A London cable message states that Queen Alexandra intends to spend a fortnight at Balmoral, in the Highlands, and will then go to Copenhagen, on a visit to her parents, the King and Queen of Denmark.
