. STOCKHOLM, August 15. B. B. Koran, the Australian swimmer, won the 100 metres handicap in lmin 37 l-ssec. Nobody finished in the four-mile event. Keran was exhausted 2’oo metres from the finish. LONDON. August 16. D. Biilington swam 500 metres at Joinvill© in '6min 51sec —a record for the distance.
