Of the three members who were elected to the Wellington Education Board as the result of the poll taken on the 24th ult., Mr Robert Lee. who topped the list, was for many years Chief Inspector for the Board. He was chairman of the Board lately until he left on a trip to England a few months ago. Mr W. C. Buchanan is M.H.R. for Wairarapa, and has had a good deal of experience on the Board. Mr A. H. Vile, the only new member returned, is a 6on of Mr Job Vile, M.H.R. for Manawatu, and is editor and proprietor of the “Eketaliuna Express.”
