The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s spring meeting opened today in fine weather. Though the attendance w r as not up to the average, speculation was brisk, the totalisator investments reaching £6048 10s, as against £5592 10s last year. Results: — Introductory Handicap, of 75 so vs; two miles.—lmperial Bell Boy, 20sec, 1; Ravensdale, 22sec, 2; Craigarnskey, 6sec, 3.' Victor C., Kenwood, and Gertie M. also started. Won by 40yds. Time, smin 3sec. Dividend, £2 18s. Ladies’ Bracelet, of 60 sovs; one mile and a half.—Highlander, lOsec, 1; Remwood, 12sec, 2; Kilmea, 7sec, 3. Also started —Broncho Bill, Puss,.
