The new post and telegraph femlding will certainly be a handsome addition to the architectural attractions of our town. The entrance will be by a vestibule, situate where the posting receptacles are now placed. On the left of the entrance there will be a room Bft by sft Sin for the letter boxes, the number of which will be increased. On the right, guarded by ©wing doors, will be a publio offioe, 20ft by lOft 6in. Close to the front windows will be the publio desk, divided into six compartments. Fronting this, on the left aide of the room, will be the public counter, divided with two division©, one of which will be the telephone lobby and instruments. Behind the counter will be a large mail room., soft bv 20ft, with the reauisite
divisions, counters, etc., with entrances to the postmaster’s room, which will he 12ft by 10ft Gin, and to the instrument room, 7ft lOin by 13ft 6:n. In the rear of the building will be the bureau and outbuildings. The main elevation shows a building 43ft wide, lit with five windows, and including a vestibule, over which is a tower, with windows, and surmounted by a flagstaff.
