STARTLING REVELATIONS.

ST. PETERSBURG, May 4

Startling revelations were made before the Commission which is investigating the circumstances connected with the surrender of Port Arthur.

Evidence was given that General Stoessel and his wife owned forty cows, and were feeding them on bread while tiie garrison was short of rations, the milk being sold at two shillings a bottle.

One officer also testified that he paid General Stoessel seventy shillings for a turkey.
