S\vi ng, sw on pr! th is is the way Goes the pendulum night and day. “Tick ! tcck! tick! took !” Never resting, says the clock. “Time for work and time for fun, Time to sleep when dav is done. “Tick! took. Hear the clock! '“Time to rest each little head; Time the children wei'e in bed.’* Swing, swong! sure and slow Goes the pendulum to and fro. “Tick! lock! tick! tcck !” In the morning says the clock. Time to wake from slumber sweet, Time to wash and time to eat. “Tick! lock!” Hear the clock! “Tick, tack, took!” it cries, “Children, it is time to rise/’
