(From Our Own Correspondent. - )

The weather has been very rough for two days, but it seems to have cleared again. Application has been made for the formation of a Branch of the Liberal and Labour Federation at Strathmore. The branch will probably bo opened during the coming month. The Public Works Department is moving its shed from Toko tc Douglas Road, and I hear that the Department intends going on with the next, section of the line, when the portion in hand is taken over by the Railway Department.
