The annual meeting of the Wellington Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Society was held at the Silver Grid last week. Mr G. Finn occupied the .-chair, and there were about two dozen members present. Captain Voss, in his little ocean craft Tilikum, arrived at Pernambuco, South America, on May 21st, thus completing his Undertaking to sail round the world-in his Indian canoe. Mr Campbell Harrison, a young Australian, joined Pa-ptain Voss at South Africa.
