The Boatman’s Creek Gold Dredging Company, Limited, reports a return oi 17oz for 120 hours’ dredging.

AUCKLAND. February 2. The gold returns of the' Auckland district for the past three weeks'-are smaller than usual, owing to; :tho;fact that only a few of the bulliqur producers have cleaner! tup since the holidays. The total output for that period is recorded as £9270.

During January the Talisman Consolidated Company treated 2010 ton 3 ore for bullion valued at £4860. WAIHI, February 0. The Wathi Goldmining Company’s return for four weeks was £50,250 from 1900 tons ore. Total output to date — £8,202,524.

REEFTON, February 0. Alpine mine manager reports’:—No. 12 level north has been extended l9it. There is a new make of stone coming in, Ift thick, and giving a fair prospect. Six men are stop mg in No. 11 on the stone. It is small, and it is doubtful if it will go up any height. The .intermediate level has been extended 4ft. The stone has cut out, and a crosscut is in Oft. There is no improvement. Six men are sloping north of tlie Rise, above intermediate. They are taking all the stone out on this end. The reef extends 12ft from t(he rise north, but n* lengthening north. GREYMOUTH. February G.
