Mr Coleman Phillips, Carterton, writes: —I am glad Mr Dix lias adopted the suggestion contained in my letter to your columns of the 13th inst., that audiences should he educated against fire panic by having fire practices occasionally. I would now further suggest that tnia should be done every evening by the proprietors of theatres throwing open all fire exits, and allowing the audience to depart by them.
