The “New Zealand Mail” is making rapid progress. Its letterpress has long been remarkable for its interest and variety, arid since its pages have been illustrated with the best work of the photo-engraver, the “New Zealand Mail” has sprung into greater poptn larity. Its circulation throughout the Middle District it speedily growing, and the proprietors are to be congratulated upon the success which has so far attended their enterprise in making the “Mail” one of the best weekly newspapers in New Zealand. Every week its readers will be able to note the improvements that are taking place in the production of this thoroughly up-to-date journal, and we learn that its proprietors are daily receiving the most gratifying testimony of how the Mail” is being everywhere appreciated. This week’s impression contains a wonderfully varied and! interesting collection of pictures.
