THE THEATRE ROYAL, WELLINGTON.
We print to-day some excellent pictures showing interior and exterior views of the popular Theatre Royal, concerning which there has been a good deal of controversy of late. It will be seen that the provision for extra exits in case of fire is excellent, and the fact that the theatre, with almost the whole of its seating capacity, occupied on Wednesday, 13th inst., was emptied in seventy-five seconds, is ample proof of its safety in case of fire.
